Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry is currently the Chief Justice of Pakistan. He was preferred as Chief Justice by Pakistani during the administration of Ex-President Gen. Pervez Musharraf on May 7, 2005, after that he was suspended by General Musharraf on March 9, 2007 on corruption charges on the other hand he was restored on technical basis by order of the Supreme Court. He completed his early education in Quetta, Baluchistan and studied law at Hyderabad University, receiving a LL.B. with unusual spotlight in constitutional law, criminal law, plus tax and revenue law.
